Field Engineer at ALTR

Andrea Peterson

I work where enterprise customer needs meet software, data platforms, and security.

I turn unclear workflows into integrations, demos, and technical solutions—then bring what the field reveals back to the product.

How I work

From customer problem to working solution

At ALTR, I work directly with security, data, and engineering teams throughout technical evaluations and implementations. The artifact changes—an integration, automation, proof of concept, demo, or troubleshooting plan—but the way I approach the work stays consistent.

  1. 01Understand the workflow

Learn how the system works today, who uses it, and where the friction is.

  2. 02Clarify the requirements

Surface technical constraints, security needs, and what a useful result looks like.

  3. 03Build the right artifact

Create an integration, automation, proof of concept, demo, or reference implementation.

  4. 04Test and troubleshoot

Validate behavior, inspect logs and metrics, reproduce issues, and communicate findings.

  5. 05Close the loop

Turn recurring needs into product feedback, reusable patterns, and clearer documentation.
